At Body In Align we use The Egoscue Method to bring your body and mind back into alignment.  Although Primarily designed to eliminate chronic pain, it also helps:

Below are many different therapy options to choose from:


Obligation Free Posture Evaluation

Available in person or via Zoom, Skype, email, WhatsApp or over the phone

Duration:
20 Min Free Evaluation.

What to expect:
– Discuss your symptoms
– Posture photos
– Posture Analysis and discuss your compensations and dysfunctions in relationship to your pain and limitation
– Functional testing to determine root cause of your pain and limitations


Single Session Consultation

Available in person or via Zoom, Skype, email, WhatsApp or over the phone

Duration:
1.5 to 2 hours

What to expect:

– Discuss your symptoms, pain and limitations
– Posture photos
– Posture Analysis and discuss your compensations and dysfunctions in relationship to your pain and limitation
– Functional testing to determine root cause of your pain and limitations
– Discuss your symptoms
– Gait Analysis
– Discuss the time you can / willing to commit to doing your exercises (e-cises) every day or at least 4 times per week

– Take you through a series of e-cises specifically created for you to address your posture deviations, dysfunction, limitations and pain
– Take posture photos after a couple of e-cises to verify the posture changes 
– Take you through the next few recommended e-cises
– Take final posture photos to verify the posture changes 
– You will receive an email with all your photos and the menu of e-cises.
– You will also receive the instructions for each e-cise- You will also receive an email with instructions to download an app that you can log into.  It will have your menu of e-cises together with an instructional video and written instructions.  The app will have the number of reps, sets and duration for each e-cise making it easy to continue on your own at home
– You can provide feedback via email or via the app  

Your body did not get to where it is at overnight.  And although you will see and feel immediate results – you need to continue with the e-cises at home to re-train your muscles and bring your body back to it’s original design.  Be patient with yourself and your body and take care through the changes.

A single session will definitely help, however, as your body and posture changes, you will need different or modified set of e-cises.  It is therefore highly recommended to have at least 8 consultations with your therapist for best results.


8 Session Consultation

Initial consult 1.5 to 2 hours
Each subsequent consult 45 mins to 1 hour

– Recommend a menu of e-cises based on the new changes.  The e-cises could remain the same to solidify the changes or a change to some or all of the e-cises will be recommended based on the analysis, photos and our discussions.
– Take you through the new/ revised menu 
– Take posture photos
– You will receive an email with your photos and the new/ revised menu and instructions
– You can access the new menu on your app which will have each recommended menu with the instructional videos and written instructions.

16 Session Consultation

Difference between the 8 session and 16 session program: 2 people can use this program – one person can have 6 sessions and the other 10 or both can use 8 sessions.  This program has the greatest flexibility and has the most value for money.

Email Consultation

This option of therapy is mainly recommended for those on the maintenance program.  There is minimal involvement of the therapist except for creating the e-cise menu.

Available via email

– You send in 4 posture photos for analysis.  We will send you instructions on what to wear and how to take the photos

– Complete a questionnaire  with regards to your health, pain and goals 
– Within 24 hours you will receive an exercise (e-cise) menu specifically created for you based on your posture photos with instructions.
– You will also receive an email with instructions to download an app that you can log into.  It will have your menu of e-cises together with an instructional video and written instructions.  The app will have the number of reps, sets and duration for each e-cise making it easy to do at home

Run for 45mins to 1 hour
